The Lidix Story
Salem Punk Band From the Early 2000's
We're a rock band from Salem, Oregon... We recorded our first album with David Morse at his home studio, Solo 8. We started playing regular shows at The YMCA Teen Center (Now: The Ike Box) and were influential in building the local youth music scene in Salem. We had a simple idea: build a large fanbase as fast as possible using social media. We won the Oregon State Fair Battle of the Bands in 2003
Meet The Band
History

We formed in 2001 while attending Chemeketa Community College, and started playing music for a New Year's Eve Party. We recorded our first album, David Morse at his home studio, Solo 8. When David upgraded his studio, we purchased his old system and set it up to record in our converted garage, which we renovated into a studio. We played several shows around the surrounding area and took a 1 year hiatus while Kyle was deployed to Afghanistan in 2003 to play Soldier Boy. The band played our final show at the Bite of Salem in 2005. This site is to let people rediscover our music, and we hope you like it. Thanks for listening
